Abandoned Order Reminders
Not every visitor who adds something to their cart makes it all the way through to purchase a product. When a potential customer provides their contact information but doesn’t complete the order, Create A Shoppe stores that as an abandoned order.
Note: Create A Shoppe only stores the information that is provided by the customer during checkout, and doesn’t automatically create a customer account.
To send an Order Reminder Email
- Go to Reports, click on Sales then click Abandoned Order Reminders
- You can choose to send reminders to all abandoned carts at once or select the ones you would like reminders to be sent to individually.
- Once you’ve selected the carts click the Green Send Reminder button to automatically send reminders to those shoppers.
- Any sent reminders will show the date of the last reminder in red.
Abandoned Order Reminders Email
The email that is sent to the shopper who abandoned their cart is generated automatically and includes the products they had in their cart and links they can use to go back and complete their purchase. At this time the email can not be edited via your store admin. If you would like to customize the email sent please email us.
