ADDING A PAGE<\/h1>\n
Information Pages are managed from Store \u203a Information Pages<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The steps below show you how to add new pages.<\/p>\n 1. Click Insert<\/strong>.<\/p>\n 2. Enter the Name<\/strong> of your page.<\/p>\n 3. Enter the content in the description<\/strong> box that you’d like to appear on that page. Images, text, etc. You can add images and other media and elements and\u00a0style your text using the WYSIWYG<\/strong> editor\/toolbar above.<\/p>\n 5. Click the Data<\/strong> tab<\/p>\n 4. The design<\/strong> tab is usually not used but it allows different layout in terms of assignment of modules, not in terms of a totally different page design. For example, your standard product page might use the layout \u201cproducts\u201d and you have a specials module set to appear in the left column of the products layout so it shows on all product pages.<\/p>\n But let\u2019s say you do not want that specials module to show on products you have on sale. You could create a layout called \u201consale\u201d that you apply as a layout override to only those products you assign a \u201cspecials\u201d price to. Since the specials module is NOT assigned to show on the onsale layout, it would NOT show on those products.<\/p>\n This will work for any modules. You could use the banner module for example to show a banner for free shipping on only those products you give free shipping for. A page content type module to show a link to a different website \u201cFor tons more x type products, visit our x store\u201d. On the example on sales layout, you could assign onsale to show a box for terms and conditions of that sale \u201cFree shipping does not apply. Not valid with other offers or coupons\u201d or whatever. 5. Click Save<\/strong> when done. 1. To edit an existing page, click\u00a0Store\u00a0>Information Pages<\/strong>\u00a0and then click edit for the page\u00a0 you\u2019d like to make changes to.<\/p>\n 2. To Disable or hide a page<\/strong>\u00a0without deleting it, click the data <\/strong>tab\u00a0while editing\u00a0the page\u00a0Scroll to the bottom and set the status to Disabled<\/strong>.<\/p>\n 1. To delete pages\u00a0click Store >Information<\/strong>: A pop up will appear asking you to confirm it\u2019s ok to perform the deletion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\n
